It is with deep regret we announce the sudden passing of former Saddle Brook Police Detective Ronald T. Maleta, age 63, on Tuesday, September 22nd, 2009. Detective Ronald Maleta was appointed to the Saddle Brook Police Department on April 10th, 1970 and assigned to the Detective Bureau on March 1st, 1980. Detective Maleta retired from active service with the Saddle Brook Police Department effective April 1, 1996 after faithfully and honorably serving the community of Saddle Brook for 26 years.

Detective Maleta is survived by his Fiancé, Alice Anderson, his two daughters, Danielle Juarez and Kristen Campanile, his Mother, Marion Maleta, two sisters, Ginger Ross and Diane Iovino, and two grandchildren, Brooke and Dominic Campanile. The family has requested any contributions can be directed to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital or Saddle Brook Police PBA Local 102.
